TCS, which had earlier partnered with Vodafone India, said it will leverage its contextual knowledge of Vodafone Idea’s business. TCS will work on bringing integration synergies in Vodafone’s and Idea’s systems to strengthen operational effectiveness and enable faster revenue realisation.
Vodafone Idea CIO Hitesh TK said the IT partnership with TCS will focus on bringing value addition through automation and digital experience, thereby fuelling sustained business growth.
“Our Business 4.0 framework will help Vodafone Idea leverage digital technologies to strengthen their customer base, and streamline their operations to support continuous innovation,” TCS India Country Head Ujjwal Mathur said.
TCS and Infosys reported a record Total Contract Value (TCV) — the size of deal struck with customers — of $9.2 billion (combined). TCV reflects an IT company’s ability to win large deals, including renewals.
TCS reported a TCV of $6.4 billion in Q2 of fiscal 2020 — the highest in the last six quarters. Infosys recorded a TCV of $2.8 billion, the highest-ever for the company.
