IMImobile launches iPadapp in pact with Telefonica and Streetspace

IMImobile has launched an iPadapp in association with Telefonica UK and Streetspace.

The iPadapp provides youth workers with an interactive tool to educate and help young people land their first job.

The new initiative is part of Telefonica UK’s Think Big Project that aims to improve communities around the U.K.

Streetspace is an initiative to promote young people’s personal and social development.

IMImobile on Thursday said the Streetspace app was designed as a tool to assist their youth workers in helping young people learn about the process of gaining employment.

Alex Klose, head of Marketing at IMImobile, said: “With iPads increasingly being integrated with how people learn, it is important to provide young people with correct tools to assist with the transition from education to career.”

The iPad app provides information from the initial stages of matching skills to potential jobs, finding jobs, managing expectations, the interviewing process, to dealing with unemployment.

With definable parameters and utilising IMImobile’s iPad development kit, the app delivers tailored content in an engaging format to help users find their first job.

“Giving young people the tools to help craft their own future is an important part of our Think Big initiative. What’s great about the app is that through the use of technology, youth workers can demo to young people whenever and wherever on the move- a great flexible solution in this digital age,” said Nicky McGroarty, head of Supply Chain at Telefonica UK.
