Four-in-Ten smartphone users redeemed a Coupon on their device: Survey

Telecom Lead America: 40 percent surveyed smartphone
users have redeemed a coupon on their mobile device and  nearly one-third
(29 percent) of smartphone users search for coupons on their device
at least once a month, with 40 percent of U.S. adults ages 18-34 doing the
same, reveals a new CouponCabin.com survey.

72 percent said they are at least somewhat likely to use
a mobile app that offers savings with different types of coupons (e.g., online
codes, grocery, non-grocery).


When asked what types of coupons they have redeemed on
their smartphones, 41 percent redeemed daily deal coupons, 39 percent went for
Grocery coupons and 34 percent users redeemed online coupon codes.


The survey reveals that 29 percent smartphone users went
for Printable coupons.


This survey was conducted online within the United States
by Harris Interactive on behalf ofCouponCabin among 3,312 U.S.
adults ages 18 and older.
