Sony Ericsson unveils Xperia arc S in India

Sony Ericsson has
introduced its Xperia arc S in India.


The latest addition
to the Xperia family has a processor upgraded to 1.4Ghz, Sony 3D sweep panorama
technology and Facebook Inside Xperia.


The Xperia arc S
includes the option to see images and videos come to life by connecting the
smartphone to TV, using the HDMI output. 


Sony Ericsson has
also joined hands with Tata DOCOMO to offer data plans for its consumers.


As part of the deal
between Sony Ericsson and Tata DOCOMO, customers can avail free data offers
from Tata DOCOMO. Tata DOCOMO 3G pre-pay customers will get the benefit to
download free 3GB data, three hours of mobile TV for three months.


Tata DOCOMO post-pay
3G customers will be able to download 1GB data per month for three months,
along with three hours of free Mobile TV per month for three months. Tata
DOCOMO 2G pre-pay customers will get 3GB data usage free, valid for 90 days,
and 300 minutes of local Tata to Tata calling. Post-pay customers will get 1GB
data usage per month free for the next three months, along with 100 minutes of
local Tata to Tata calling per month for three months.


Xperia arc S is a
revved up version next to come from the popular Xperia family of smartphones,
and is designed for those who want faster operating speeds and outstanding
camera capability on their smartphones, along with breathtaking aesthetics.

with Tata DOCOMO has given our new device a boost, with the bundle we are
offering on their network. Indian smartphone users indulge in entertainment and
internet-based content, which is offered by Sony Ericsson’s portfolio,

Consumers will have
access to a uniquely social entertainment experience of sharing and discovery
with Facebook inside Xperia, plus the extensive world of Android with over
250,000 applications.
