Lenovo Mobile Business Group has appointed Sudhin Mathur as the managing director of Motorola Mobility India.

Sudhin Mathur will also continue to serve the role of executive director for Lenovo MBG India.

Sudhin Mathur has been running the operations for Lenovo MBG in India since its inception in the country four years ago.

Lenovo said Sudhin Mathur has been instrumental in leading the seamless integration of Motorola and Lenovo mobile businesses.

Under the leadership of Sudhin Mathur, Lenovo notched the No. 2 position by both value and volume in this cluttered and competitive market, rising from the 31st position in the year it entered the market.

Sudhin Mathur earlier worked with Ericsson Telecommunications / Sony Ericsson and LG Mobiles.
