Tata Teleservices Maharashtra revenue up 13% at Rs 660 crore in Q4

Telecom Lead India: Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra)
has posted a 13 percent growth in year-on-year revenues at Rs 660 crore for the
quarter ended 31st March 2012, compared to Rs 586 crore in the
corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company’s EBIDTA stood at Rs 147 crore for the
quarter.

 

The company said that it maintained a strong focus on
wireless broadband services. TTML’s VAS and data revenues accounted for 33
per cent of total wireless revenues in Q4 FY12.

 

In FY12, the company registered a revenue growth of 8
percent, at Rs 2,506 crore, compared to Rs 2,316 crore in the FY11.

 

EBIDTA for FY12 grew by 10 per cent to Rs 547 crore,
compared to Rs 497 crore for FY11 after excluding profit on sale of long
term investments and extra-ordinary provisions.

 

During the quarter, the company extended its network
strength of over 9000 towers across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa circles
ensuring that customers continue to enjoy hassle free services on its seamless
network.

 

In the quarter ending December 31 2011, TTML launched
Tata DOCOMO Photon Max in Mumbai and Rest of Maharashtra region.

 

Recently, Tata DOCOMO launched unlimited plan for Photon Max
customers in Mumbai. Existing and new post-pay Tata DOCOMO Photon Max users
will get flat bill cap of Rs 1000 every month. Users can utilize 3GB data at up
to 6.2 mbps downlink speed. Post 3GB, speeds will be capped at up to 153.6
Kbps.

 

Tata Teleservices gross revenue up 7% at Rs 3,023 crore in Q3
2011

 

Recently, Tata Teleservices posted gross revenue of Rs
3,022.83 crore for the quarter ended 31, December 2011, showing 7.08 percent
growth at Rs 2822.86 crore in September 2011.

 

The carriers’ December quarter gross revenue increased
significantly against Rs 2559.48 crore for the quarter ended 31, December 2010.
