Telecom network operator Vodafone India today said it has set up over 3,200 cell sites in Delhi in a bid to upgrade its voice and data coverage.
This means, Vodafone has added 9 towers every day. Vodafone has made investments of over Rs 1,000 crore in the last 12 months to upgrade network for more than 1 crore customers in the Delhi NCR region.
Vodafone India has also invested fiber backhaul by adding 600 kms of fiber backhaul. The mobile operator has 3,000 kms of fiber network in Delhi NCR allowing mobile internet to flow without any blockage.
Vodafone India has upgraded its network in Delhi NCR to provide connectivity solutions to over one crore customers, with the introduction of Vodafone SuperNet, a seamless network experience that empowers users to connect on voice and data.
Apoorva Mehrotra, business head – Delhi NCR, Vodafone India, said: “Our teams have worked round the clock to set up more than 3,200 telecom sites.”
