MACH hosts conference in Jaipur for mobile operators for driving 3G growth in India

MACH, a provider of
hub-based mobile communication solutions, announced that it will be hosting key
representatives from India’s mobile operator community later this month at its
exclusive “Insights India” conference.

The 3 day event, running from 9th
-11th November in Jaipur and by invitation only, is
designed to help operators explore strategies for
driving revenue growth in the new 3G world.

The conference will be opened by Raghunatha
Chary, r
egional vice president
Sales, MACH India

Indian operators today face a number of
challenges and opportunities. ARPU continues to be pressured in the market, but
mobile data offers great scope for new revenue streams. Pre-paid roaming shows
enormous potential when fraud and recharge concerns are also addressed.

“Our aim at Insights India is to explore how
operators can best gear their businesses in this transforming mobile
world,  how they can successfully turn new opportunities into business
deals, how they can develop new strategies to meet end-user demand, and how
they can generate new sources of revenue and drive revenue growth in the new 3G
world,” said Chary.

More than 100 representatives from India’s mobile operators are expected
to converge on Jaipur to discuss some of the hottest topics in the mobile
industry,
including the latest
roaming trends, regulatory and policy reforms, inter-standard roaming and 3G
data offload, data roaming and the role of applied business intelligence, fraud
management, 3G roaming pacts and many more.
Through presentations,
interactive workshops, -meet the expert’ sessions and social events,
participants will have the opportunity to learn, network and talk to industry
experts.

MACH is committed to helping operators in India navigate
the challenges and opportunities that come with 3G, as evidenced by its investment
in a brand new global data clearing platform in Hyderabad earlier this year.
The multi-million dollar investment, the largest in the company’s history, is
paving the way for mobile operators in India to leverage the full service
capabilities of 3G without large CAPEX investments and reap the benefits of
increased usage and revenue growth.
