BTS
Software Solutions, a provider of software features and telecommunications
management capabilities to government customers, announced that that it opened
a new office in the City of Baltimore.

The
company selected Baltimore as their home in an
effort to encourage small businesses to move to the area and improve the local
technology economy.

“I
know that our technologies have the ability to make a significant change in the
safety and security of our Warfighters all over the world,” said Sean Lane, president of BTS Software Solutions.

“My
desire to improve military communications and intelligence processes, however,
is only matched by my passion to make Baltimore
a better place to live and work. I hope to make our city the Silicon Valley of
the East Coast and encourage entrepreneurs to set up all sorts of businesses in
Baltimore,” Lane added.

BTS Software Solutions focuses on the maintenance, promotion and creation of new features for BTS
invented Praefectus. Praefectus software is used by the Army to manage tactical
cellular networks and mobile devices.

to support their growth, which will help create quality jobs now and in the
future,” said U.S. Senator Ben Cardin.
