Airtel 4G launched in Sonipat; 10 GB for Rs.995

Bharti Airtel has launched 4G service in Sonipat, Haryana.

As an introductory offer, the company has announced a special pack of Rs. 995 for heavy data (CPE) users which will offer 10 GB of 4G data.

Airtel 4G promises high speed wireless broadband for uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images. The service is available across a range of smart devices including dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles, the company said.

Airtel launched the first 4G network in India in April 2012 in Kolkatta. Recently the company announced its 4G services are available in 296 towns across India.

Commenting on the launch of Airtel 4G in the city, Manu Sood, Hub CEO – Upper North, Bharti Airtelsaid, “As customers in India show an increasing propensity for consuming data services, we at Airtel are excited to take the lead in introducing the market to the power of blazing 4G speeds.”

Airtel has installed special demo zones and kiosks at Airtel Store at Municipal Market, Subhash Chowk, Sonipat, Haryana, to educate customers about the new service.

Airtel also announced partnership with OTT provider ErosNow to deliver OTT content via Airtel’s recently launched carrier agnostic mobile app Wynk Movies.
Aimed at driving the commercial launch of its 4G services, Airtel also has launched an all new brand campaign. The Airtel Challenge invites users to experience Airtel 4G and demonstrate the network experience that Airtel’s smartphone network delivers for its customers.
