Idea launches Monsoon Utsav to reward subscribers in UP East

 

Idea Cellular announced an initiative titled Monsoon Utsav to reward its prepaid subscribers who stay connected to the
network in UP East.

 

This offer gives Idea prepaid customers an opportunity to get exciting items
such as Gold Coins, LCD TVs, Laptops, Mobile phones, Digital Camera, and DVD
Players by just keeping their mobile phone on -Switched On’ mode, throughout
the day.

 

Idea prepaid subscribers in UP East who keep
their mobile phone on active’/ ‘switched on’ mode, will be eligible to
participate in the campaign. Every week top participants will receive Gold
coins, LCD TVs, Laptops, Mobile phones, Digital Camera, and DVD Players.

 

The offer will be available till September 15th,
2011.

marketing and customer service strategy. Through this offer, Idea is
encouraging customers to make the most of Idea’s strong network across UP East.
Idea’s Monsoon Utsav offer will further promote usage on the network by getting
more users to stay connected and get rewarded for their faith,” said Rajesh
Naik, chief operating officer, UP East, IDEA Cellular. 

 

Idea has deep penetration in UP East with a
2G network spread across the rural belt and small towns. Idea’s 3G network is
the widest spread 3G network in the circle, covering 64 towns.

 

Idea users who stay connected with the
network will now enjoy seamless connectivity across the length and breadth of
the state, and also get to win exciting prizes.

 

Meanwhile, Idea Cellular registereda 6.7 percent revenue growth during the quarter
ended June 30, 2011 on a sequential quarterly basis.

 

The company has reversed the two year declining Average
Realised Rate (ARR) trend with a marginal improvement of 1 percent in ARR to
41.0 paise for the quarter against 40.6 paise in the previous quarter.
