integrates functionality from several key components of GENBAND‘s product
portfolio, including the A2 Communications Application
Server; C20 and C15 Access Gateway and Media Gateway
Control Functions (AGCF, MGCF); the C3 Transcoding Media Resource
Controller; the S3 Intelligent Session Border Controller (SBC);
the G-Series media gateways; and P-Series Traffic and
Policy Management solutions.
By using this new solution mobile and fixed operators can
monetize services by rapidly enabling the delivery of revenue-generating voice
and multimedia applications.
The GENBAND GENiUS solution offers GENiUS IMS AGCF
capabilities which enables seamless deployment of advanced communications
services for both narrowband and broadband access through the GENiUS IMS AGCF
capabilities.
Through simple software upgrades on the GENiUS platform,
this unique approach supports existing IP multimedia services, IMS enhanced
services, and hybrid deployments using the same network solution, offering

Recently, GENBAND announced that British
Telecommunications (BT) selected GENBAND
to support enhanced Global IP Interconnect solution for its UK and global
wholesale customers.
